The Tale of Tim and Tom

**Title: The Tale of Tim and Tom**

In a small village, there were two friends, Tim and Tom. They were known for their opposite personalities. Tim was always punctual; he believed in doing everything on time. Tom, on the other hand, was always late. He would often say, "There's always time; why rush?"

One day, the village elder announced that he would be giving a special gift to the first two people who arrived at the village square the next morning. Excited, Tim decided to wake up early and make sure he was there on time. Tom, however, thought he could sleep in a bit longer and still make it in time.

The next morning, Tim arrived at the square just as the sun began to rise. He was the first one there and patiently waited for the elder. Tom, however, woke up late, rushed through his morning routine, and ran to the square. By the time he arrived, he was out of breath, and there was already a crowd gathered.

The elder smiled at Tim and handed him a beautiful watch, saying, "This watch is a symbol of your punctuality. It will remind you to always value time."

When Tom finally reached the elder, he looked down and said, "I'm sorry I'm late." The elder gave him a small bag of seeds and said, "These seeds will grow into beautiful flowers, but only if you plant them on time. This will teach you the importance of being punctual."

Tim wore his watch with pride, always arriving on time wherever he went. Tom, on the other hand, learned from his experience. He planted the seeds immediately and began to make an effort to be on time. As the flowers bloomed, so did Tom's respect for punctuality.

From that day on, both Tim and Tom were known for their punctuality. They realized that being on time wasn't just about being early; it was about respecting others and making the most of every moment.

**Moral:** Punctuality is a sign of respect and responsibility. It helps you make the most of opportunities and shows that you value the time of others as well as your own.
